«Music tells of fate, of creation and decay, joy and grief, hope and love. In everything that surrounds us is a melody. Everything has its own sound. – The history of the universe as an eternal mystic symphony.
The relation between sound, music and the cycles of life are allegorized in the painting. The ’keyboard’ located in the lower part is the connection between instrument and human being. Brief biography:
Jaime Colán, born in 1956 in Lima (Peru), has lived and worked in Germany since 1989 as a freelance artist. Following his studies in art at the «Escuela de Bellas Artes del Peru» he was engaged for three years in «Sono Viso del Peru» in the division for audio-visual media of the episcopal commission for catechism. Exhibitions include Munich, Stuttgart und Brussels.
