Lively, intoxicated,
awake to life.
A dance in flight,
time fleeing.

For the third series of three New Year’s greeting cards we chose an artist from Männedorf who is connected to our company in a very special way and to whose work we relate directly. On the one hand her sculptures - "Nomaden" - transparent, fragile, ethereal, woven out of the finest metal. A contradiction in terms? Oxidized at high temperatures, glowing and in warm colours. On the other hand her photographs, taken in our workshops, recording and emphasizing with a sharp eye for the beauty of detail. On another level Ursula Gerber admirably succeeds in uniting these two art forms in a symbiosis.

Ursula Gerber was fascinated by organ building, and apart from her activities as an artist, between 1996 and 2005 she also worked in our company. Her passion for working in metal also led her into the tin workshop where she was able to gain a variety of experience in working with tin and lead and producing pipes. In 2005 she returned to artistic creation full-time.
