The organ was dismantled and put into store in 2006. When the Alice Tully Hall had been rebuilt and redesigned, in the summer of 2010 we reinstalled the instrument at its original location.
Since the acoustic characteristics of the concert hall had now improved, the organ was revoiced and the specification was enlarged with two electronic pedal stops.
From a technical point of view, the organ was thoroughly overhauled. The key ac-tion was enlarged with a coupling aid: the Kuhn lever with two switching points.
