Historic case - new content

As the technical and tonal condition of the existing organ has been completely unsatisfactory for some time now, a new organ is to be installed in the beautiful Baroque church of Mariä Himmelfahrt. Two manuals and the pedal will be integrated into the historic case by Blasius Bernauer from 1770 on the upper gallery. A third, swellable manual - intended in particular for accompanying the choir and soloists - will be positioned at the rear wall of the lower gallery and can be added at a later point in time. The console will be free-standing, centrally located in front of the balustrade on the lower gallery, facing the organ.

In addition to the historic case, the principal pipes of the facade will also be taken from the old substance.

The instrument is currently under construction and is scheduled to be installed in its old/new location in the parish church of Mariä Himmelfahrt in the first half of the year 2026.
